Description

A soft, hydrophilic, sterile, nonwoven, gel forming pad or ribbon dressing composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose and enhanced fibers for strengthening.

Indications

Management of pressure ulcers (category 2–4) and other wounds with moderate to heavy exudate.

Contraindications

Cutimed Gelling Fiber should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its components. Cutimed Gelling Fiber is not intended for use as a surgical sponge. Cutimed Gelling Fiber is not intended for use within internal body cavities or within closed wounds. Infection is not a contraindication to the use of Cutimed Gelling Fiber.
