A soft silicone foam dressing designed to minimise leakage and improve clinical outcomes. Its dimpled foam enhances fluid spread in all directions, even against gravity, ensuring superior exudate management and reducing maceration risk. Despite its thin profile, it effectively manages high fluid volumes and various exudate viscosities, suitable for all wound healing stages. Mepilex Up can be used under compression bandaging and in combination with gels.
Designed for the management of a wide range of exuding wounds in all healing stages such as chronic wounds e.g. leg ulcers, foot ulcers and pressure ulcers, and traumatic wounds e.g. skin tears and secondary healing wound.
Do not use Mepilex Up on patient and/or user with known hypersensitivity to the materials/components of the product. Do not use together with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide. However, Granudacyn has been tested and evaluated safe for use with Mepilex Up.
Soft, sterile, non-woven pad or ribbon dressing composed of Hydrofiber (sodium carboxymethylcellulose). Absorbs wound fluid and transforms into a soft gel. Provides nine times stronger tensile strength and greater absorption compared with Aquacel.
Adhesive and non-adhesive sterile Hydrofiber foam dressings consisting of a waterproof outer polyurethane film and a multi-layered absorbent pad. The adhesive version has a silicone adhesive border.
